I bring a diverse professional background to my practice which allows me to advocate in a versatile manner for my clients.

My history as an advocate includes active litigation in all phases of family law, domestic violence, consumer rights, and public benefits on behalf of the disabled and indigent and consumer interests in the realm of public utilities advocacy. I also represent children as a best interest attorney and child’s advocate. Additionally, I have actively represented commercial clients in civil matters. My background also includes practice in the realm of criminal law, as a former Assistant State’s Attorney for the City of Baltimore.

In addition to my litigation practice, I am a trained Collaborative Law Practitioner. In my practice, I offer collaborative law and interdisciplinary collaborative team representation in divorce and other family matters. I counsel clients in prenuptial and postmarital separation agreements. I also provide second opinions about pending legal matters.

I am also a trained mediator and actively serve as an attorney settlement facilitator for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
For over a decade, I was an instructor of writing and rhetoric on the college level. From 2001 to 2007, I served as an adjunct writing professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law. I continue my involvement in the academic community by serving as a guest judge to moot court teams, lecturer and mentor to students and new attorneys.
